A Super Secret Catalyst Sneak Peek

Things around the GiANT offices this week are becoming a bit frenzied as the Catalyst team make all their last minute preparations for the Catalyst Conference happening end of next week! I thought in the spirit of the times I’d let you in on a little Catalyst secret… Catalyst Backstage!
This year Anne Jackson, uber blogger, will be covering the conference in a way no one has ever been able to before - from behind the scenes! During the conference the Catalyst Backstage site will provide blog commentary from Anne, live one-on-one interviews with the speakers, candid video glimpses into what is happening around the conference, 24/7 chat open throughout the conference, as well as integrated Buzz feeds from those blogging and Twittering (#catalyst08 is the official hash tag) the conference!
This is one of four big projects that I’ve been working on for the last month or so and I’m completely stoked about the possibilities of how Catalyst Backstage will open even more dialogue - not only for those who will be in Atlanta for the conference, but with those who couldn’t come for one reason or another!

What Are Thin Places?
"Thin Places" are rich in Celtic tradition. They are the places in our lives where the divine and the natural worlds come so close together that we can catch a glimpse of God. For the Celtics these places were very real - places within creation where we could physically go. The Thin Places in our own lives are those moments where the space between us & the Kingdom is thin, when we are introduced to a greater glimpse of Who He is through our experiences and through the stories of others.
